What a nice Christmas Program we had this year.  As in the past, many groups from within the church participated.  The young children provided a Christmas story all decked out in theme costumes, with the youth providing narration.  There was music from the children’s bell choir, and also the Adult Bell Choir.  The Chancel choir proved that they are, in fact, a group of “Old Rockers” who still “got it” with their Doo Wop rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.  Ken and Grant Bartlett entertained us with a horn duet played with French horn and Flugelhorn.  Gifts were given to Bonnie and Marv in thanks for all the work they do in our music program.  Also, a thank you gift to the pastor and his wife for all the help and support they provided throughout 2013. And, of course, who can forget the visit from Santa Claus and his telling of the Night Before Christmas story.  And much more I no doubt missed.  So, add to this the first singing of Christmas songs for 2013, and we find that we had ourselves quite a celebration to get us into the spirit of the season.
