Presbyterian Women, a.k.a. The Circle
All women of the church of Condit Presbyterian Church may belong to Presbyterian Women. They meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:00 AM in the church all purpose room.

For many years, this group has made it their mission to make stuffed animals for
Children’s Hospital.  Ann Ross cuts out and sews the fabric covers, and Doris Wampler draws the cute faces on them.

At their meetings, the rest of the group stuffs them and sews them shut. Mary Ann Counts takes them to Children’s Hospital when they get a big sack full.

Mary Ann Murphy Counts and Alice Murphy Schuster have been helping the group with their study on prayer, which is from the Women of Faith study series, “Adventurous
Prayer.”

Their first after-summer meeting will be September 17, with Jane Cockrell as hostess. Mary Ann and Alice will present Chapter 9 of “Adventurous Prayer” for the Bible study, and Rachel Buxton has the short mission year book study.

The next October meeting will be October 15.
